Hostel La Veranera will open doors in time for the summer season, and is located in the evolving Old Town of Estepona. The Brazilian developer behind the project visited 35 cities around Europe to select the ideal location for the hostel and in the end settled on the Costa del Sol town of Estepona, which in recent years has benefited from a wealth of investment and improvements, including improved infrastructure and a brand-new hospital.
The renovation, by Atlas Group, is nearing completion. Mike Gregory, Director General, said; “The Old Town of Estepona is an iconic location, one which is receiving great attention in renovation and rejuvenation. We were pleased to have been selected for an exciting project and eager to see the final results. The renovation has been more difficult than typical projects due to the central location, but the Atlas Group team have been exercising their care and expertise in the construction work.”
Hostel La Veranera can house up to 36 people and has several dormitory style bedrooms, private double bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, co-working spaces and laundry facilities. A contemporary-styled open-air terrace on the roof has a plunge pool, seating and bar area perfect for the Andalusian climes.
